Only one is real. I know this because I took it myself.
My photo was taken of a juggling lesson in Bryant Park – behind the New York City Public Library.
The other 3 images are AI-generated. I created them using Ideogram.ai and ChatGPT.
Which one do you think is the real image? See the answer below!
The real image of the jugglers is:
Image #3
Some clues that give away the AI images:
👥 1. People and Poses
Real (Image #3): Everyone in the scene looks like a real person caught mid-action—natural poses, realistic expressions, and a bit of motion blur on the juggling.
AIArtificial Intelligence (AI) is basically when computers get smart—really smart. Imagine if your c... More (Images #1, #2, #4): Look closely:
In #1, the juggler’s arm and hand positions don’t quite line up with the club in the air.
In #4, the clubs defy physics (check the guy tossing the green one in the background—it’s almost vertical with no arc).
In #2, the hand positions are awkward, and one person’s arm looks a bit melted.
🪄 2. Juggling Clubs Gone Wrong
Real: In #3, the clubs are clearly defined and follow believable trajectories.
AI: In other images:
Clubs may have inconsistent sizing (#1).
Some float with no blur at all (#4).
In #2, one club doesn’t have a handle.
✋ 3. Hands and Fingers
Real: In #3, the jugglers’ fingers are well-formed, gripping the clubs naturally.
AI: AI still struggles with hands! In #1 and #2, some fingers are stubby or fused. In #4, hands look like they’re “hovering” near the props instead of actually gripping them.
🌆 4. Crowd and Background
Real: In #3, the crowd in the background is varied and expressive—some juggling, some standing, some reaching down to grab props. It feels alive.
AI: In #1, #2, and #4, background people often repeat poses or blend oddly into their surroundings. In #2, one background person’s hand just vanishes.
