Have you ever wished your cat had its own subway system?
No?
Well, neither did we — until a YouTuber in China named Xing built one, and now we can’t stop watching.
This isn’t some cardboard box “train” you throw together after a couple of glasses of wine and a Pinterest board.
This is a fully functioning cat subway station — complete with a train, platform doors that open in sync, and (because cats demand luxury) a working escalator.
It took Xing four months to build. Meanwhile, it’s taken our local subway four months just to fix one broken vending machine!
Two years ago, Xing built a high-tech Cat House that went viral. Naturally, his fans asked, “When are you going to build them a subway?”
Xing thought about it. And thought about it some more. The main problems?
Instead of overthinking it, Xing said, “Forget it. I’ll figure it out as I go,” which, honestly, is the energy we all need when assembling IKEA furniture.
After four months of late nights and more cleanup than he’d care to admit, Cat Town Station finally opened.
The video shows Xing welcoming the first “passengers” — his cats — as the train pulls in. There are signs, announcements (“Welcome to Cat Town Station, please let passengers off before boarding”), and cats strutting onto the platform like they’re late for an important meeting.
It’s… perfect.
If you only watch one video today (and let’s face it, you’re going to watch at least twelve), make it this one.
