Below are 4 images.
One is real. I know this because I took it myself. The photo of these rowers was taken around sunset while standing on a bridge over the Charles River near the Harvard University Boat House.
The other 3 images are AI-generated. I created them using Ideogram.ai.

The biggest giveaway in Image #3 is the wake in the water.
The rowers have their backs to the “camera” and, in rowing, athletes face backwards while rowing. That means the boat would be moving toward the “camera.”
But here’s the problem: the wake (the trail of disturbed water the boat leaves behind) is in front of the boat. That’s backwards!
The wake should be behind the boat, not in front of it. It’s a big mistake that reveals the image was AI-generated.
The color of the water was more natural.
Interesting observation. I hadn’t looked that closely at that one. Thanks for sharing!
The picture was not perfect
Yes! Very perceptive, Dotty! AI images often have that “too perfect” vibe to them.
