Address Bar

The address bar is the text box at the top of a web browser where you type a website’s address (URL) to go directly to that site. It also shows the address of the page you’re currently on, helping you keep track of where you are online. Some browsers even let you search the internet directly from the address bar.

Think of the address bar like the GPS for your internet journey. Just as entering an address into a GPS takes you to a specific location, typing a web address into the address bar takes you straight to the website you want to visit.
