Unfriend

To “unfriend” someone on social media means to remove them from your list of friends or connections. This means they will no longer see your posts, updates, or interact with you unless your settings allow it. Unfriending is usually done with a simple click and can be for many reasons—perhaps due to a disagreement, changing relationships, or just wanting to tidy up your friend list. Some platforms also let you block or unfollow someone if you don’t want to see their posts but don’t want to fully remove them.

Think of unfriending as a digital farewell. Just like in real life, friendships can change, and unfriending is a way to step back from a connection that no longer fits.
